Women's Day Soup Kitchen
Honoured and supported women residing in a local shelter through a soup kitchen and shared meal, toiletry and clothing donations, fellowship, and oral health education during Women's Month.
We respond through:
Because MMF is fundamentally about service and community action, every programme we run falls under one of four pillars.
Supporting children through initiatives that promote learning, development, confidence, and opportunity.
Responding to immediate community needs through practical assistance and outreach.
Promoting dignity, confidence, and well-being among women and girls.
Promoting healthier communities through awareness, education, and preventative health initiatives.
Every rand and every hour is invested into tangible, tracked outcomes for the communities we serve.

Providing sanitary pads and hygiene products to girls and women in need, all year round, with an intensified Women's Month push every July and August.

Newly launched and running through December 2026, providing school bags and school shoes to learners to ease some of the practical challenges families face at the start of the new school year.

Providing toothbrushes, toothpaste and basic oral hygiene kits to children and families who go without, all year round. Drop off donations at our Lindhaven Shopping Centre collection point.
New or gently used and still in good, clean condition, these are the specific items our drives need right now, on top of the broader projects above.
...and other basic necessities. Not sure if something qualifies? Just ask.
Drop off at our collection point, Lindhaven Shopping Centre, Roodepoort, or get in touch to arrange something else.
